Below we have shared the detailed information about GU exams-
- GU examinations are conducted on a semester basis.
- University conducts sessional exams (mid-semester exams) and end semester exams for every semester.
- The Odd semester exams for UG programs are conducted from November to December and for PG programs in the month of December every year.
- Even semester exams for UG courses are conducted from April to May and in the month of June for PG courses.
- COE department of the university issues the admit card for every students and they are required to carry it to the examination center during the end semester exams.
Gauhati University Admission Procedure
Admission is done on the basis of the entrance exams and open to all national and international students.
The admission guidelines are different for international students.
Students have to appear in various entrance conducted by the university for admissions. Separate entrance tests are conducted for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
In order to get admission into the university, interested candidates have to fill an online application form first.
The application can be filled through the admission portal of the university.
The entrance exams for all the programs are generally conducted in the month of June/July every year.
After the successful application process, admit cards are issued to the registered candidates. All the applicants are advised to download and print the hall ticket and must carry it to the examination hall on the day of the test.
