Assam ITI Admission 2019
ONLINE applications for admission into the Govt. ITIs of Assam for NCVT / CoE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC (SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs ) under Craftsmen Training Scheme for the session commencing fromJuly 2019 are invited from the intending candidates & who are Permanent Residents of Assam.
The passed out candidates from NCVT trades, will be issued NCVT certificates & from SCVT trades, will be
issued SCVT certificates.
To participate in the e - counseling the candidate shall fill all his particulars on the
counseling website www.itiassam.nic.in
The age of candidates for admission must not be below 14 years as on 1st July 2019.
After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI alongwith
their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars.
ITI Assam courses
1. Dress Making, Sewing Technology, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Fashion Design & Technology, Desk Top Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi Media Animation and Special Effect, Photographer, Digital Photographer
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class under 10+ 2 system of education
2. Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Secretarial Practice (English), Basic Cosmetology, Plumber, Welder, Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidery), Front Office Assistant
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination
3. BLTT (Bodo Language Transcription Trade)
Duration: 6 months
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination
4. Mechanic Diesel Engine, Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Surveyor, Mechanic Tractor, Soil Testing and Crop Technician
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class under 10+ 2 system of education with Science & Mathematics or its equivalent
5. COE sector(BBBT modules): Plastic processing sector, Fabrication(Fitting & Welding) sector, Construction & Wood Working sector, Information Technology sector
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination
6. Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Information &Communication Technology System Maintenance, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air conditioner, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Draughtsman Civil, Draughtsman Mechanical, Mechanic Agricultural Machinery , Maintenance Mechanic Chemical Plant, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Mechanic Auto Body Repair
Duration: 2 years
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class under 10+ 2 system of education with Science & Mathematics or its equivalent
7. Wireman
Duration: 2 years
Educational Qualification: Passed in 8th class
Assam ITI Admission 2019: Admission Fee
- The fees for admission are as follows : (FOR NCVT & SCVT trades)
- Tuition fees Rs. 50/- per month : Rs. 600/- (for 1 year)
- Caution Money (Refundable) : Rs. 250/
- Registration fees : Rs. 25/
- Medical Examination, Fees : Rs. 25/
- Trainees Union fees (a) 1 year : Rs. 175/ (b) 2 years : Rs. 350/
- Hostel service charge : Rs. 50/ (where applicable)
- Hostel Caution Money (Refundable) :Rs. 250/ (do)
Note: For BPL Candidates, the payment of Tuition fees is waived off, except SCVT under IMC courses.

- For Non Engineering courses: Rs. 15,000/- per year
- For Engineering courses: Rs.16,500/- per year(for one year), Rs. 33,000/(for two years)
ITI Assam courses: How to apply
To participate in the e-counseling the candidates shall fill all his/ her particulars on the counseling website www.itiassam.nic.in. Online Registration shall be open from 30th May' 2019, to 5 PM of 14th June 2019.After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI alongwith their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars.
Candidates must get their registration confirmed by getting their documents verified at their nearest Govt ITI within 15th June 2019 (On all working days during office hours).

Eligibility Criteria
- The age of the applicants needs to be between 14 years to 35 years.
- The maximum age of the applicants can be 45 years for the war widows, physically handicapped and ex-servicemen.
- The educational qualification for all the applicants will be the higher secondary level education.
Guidelines to fill choices by the candidates
- Candidates can fill as many choices as desired from the available list of choices.
- The list of choices of courses will be available to candidates as per his entry qualification and as per eligibility.
- The list of courses will be available separately for NCVT, SCVT, and SCVT. The candidates of the respective district may opt for admission in respective ITI of their district, where such courses exist.
- Choices can be filled after the confirmation of registration.
- There are two boxes at the “Fill choices” option: (1) Left box indicates the total available choices as per the candidate’s eligibility. (2) Right box indicates the choices filled by the candidate.
- Candidates can sort available choices, course wise & institution wise any time during the choice filling.
- Candidates can add Single choice at a time.
About Counselling
- The Counselling will commence in due course of time as per the admission schedule (as given above).
- After the verification of documents, the eligible candidates can go ahead for the choice filling process where they can opt for the course and college of their choice.
- The competent authority will prepare the merit list according to the performance in the qualifying exam.
- The merit list candidates have to report to the allotted college/institute for further admission formalities.
